"Kiss Me Deadly... or not (weirdo)
Flirtation - obsession - rejection - poverty - recovery - bravery: all these things are easier with my Deadlies on. Knowing that underneath what they see, I am what I see.
For a few long months, the only way I could express how I felt about Mr Crush was to swap tights for stockings on the days of his classes. He was older... OK, a lot older. And a dreamboat. And his body language said he felt what I felt... Finally I reached a point of “Fuck it”. You all know what I mean. My Deadlies were there like friends cheering me on, giving me the courage to ask him out. And after the rejection, my Deadlies were the front line of defence; right there with me, ensuring I made a dignified retreat. Just like my real friends they told me righteously, what kind of weirdo wouldn't want to date you? Yeah, his loss!
So now that crush is over and it's time to find a new one. Just like real friends, my Deadlies give me golden advice, and tell me not to settle. Yes, this time I'm focussing on what's most important and looking for someone to match my lingerie."
